It’s a big month for the Halpern Hotlist as it celebrates its 10 year anniversary. That’s 120 newsletters sent out and 120 guest contributors! It started as a means for us to share our favourite restaurants, exhibitions, galleries and all the amazing things we have on offer in the capital and it has grown in reach ever since. We are so happy to be able to land in your inbox once a month and thanks for all your never ending positive feedback.

Our Halpern Hotlister for April is close to home… meet Emma, a NHS Critical Care Outreach Nurse, and the flatmate of a longstanding Halpern team member. Emma has been an NHS angel for over 10 years, and she never fails to show resilience and commitment to all that she does, particularly at this challenging time.

We are so proud to support Emma, as well as all of our NHS heroes who are working tirelessly on the front line through this crisis.

This months hotlister is MP and author, David Lammy. His new book about the tribalism gripping British politics should be on your list to read for March, it puts a different perspective on society as we know it!

Hugh Bonneville, actor extraordinaire and best known as Earl of Grantham, is our August Halpern hotlister. Downton Abbey, the film, launches on September 13th.  We are booking our tickets now. 

This month’s hotlister is a constant source of inspiration, positivity and courage to not only me but all who know her. Katie Piper is known for her TV presenting and philanthropy and she founded her charity The Katie Piper Foundation, to support burns survivors across the UK. Katie and her Foundation have just opened the country’s first ever Burns Rehabilitation Centre at the Fairfield Independent Hospital in Merseyside.
